JOB OF THE WEEK

Operations & Revenue Systems · Remote (UK-based) · Part-time to Full-time

Anomally Records is an independent label and artist management company operating across the UK, GCC, Hong Kong, China, and international markets, with active releases, live events, and touring activity.

We are building out our financial operations across both recorded music and artist management. This role will be of day-to-day accounting workflows while helping structure how complex revenue flows are tracked, reconciled, and reported across multiple artists, partners, and campaigns — including across multi-currency and multi-market transactions in the UK, GCC, Hong Kong, and China.

This is an operator role first. You will be working directly on real transactions across releases, touring, and direct-to-consumer activity, while collaborating internally to ensure financial processes are consistent, scalable, and accurately reflected across our systems.

What You’ll Do

Label & Management Operations

– Release accounting and royalty tracking across physical, digital, and streaming

– Merchandise and D2C revenue reconciliation
– Touring and event settlement sheets

– Artist commission tracking and management fee reconciliation

– Booking agent and promoter deal accounting

– Expense tracking and financial reporting to artists and representatives

– PRS/PPL royalty statement management and neighbouring rights tracking

Revenue & Systems Coordination

– Structure and maintain clear workflows for tracking multi-source revenue across artists and campaigns

– Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial reporting processes

– Work with internal teams to align financial operations with internal systems and reporting tools

– Review and validate outputs across different revenue streams and counterparties

– Identify edge cases in label, management, touring, and merchandise accounting

What We’re Looking For

– Experience in music industry accounting or finance — within a record label, artist management company, distributor, or specialist music accounting firm

– Strong working knowledge of royalties, revenue splits, label P&L, mechanical and neighbouring rights

– Hands-on experience with touring settlements, booking agent deal structures, and merchandise accounting

– Comfort with D2C financial flows — physical sales, digital downloads, streaming advances and reconciliations

– Familiarity with PRS, PPL, and UK collection society processes

– Experience working alongside or within artist management operations

– Comfortable working across multi-currency and multi-market revenue environments

Why This Role Is Different

– You will run real financial operations across a live label and artist management business — not just advise

– You will work across releases, touring, and direct-to-consumer activity across multiple markets including Hong Kong, China, GCC, and the UK

– The company’s advisory network spans the global independent music industry including ex-Rough Trade and ex-Apple Music veterans

– The roster is already active across UK, GCC, Georgia, and international markets with releases, live events, and touring

– This is a ground-floor role within a growing international operation
