Music Ally SI:X is our global showcase, contest and mentorship support programme for early-stage music startups. Today we’re announcing the winners of this year’s competition. And yes, of course there are six of them!

Aiode is building virtual musicians trained (with permission and payment) on the work of humans, while Different Breed works with festivals and concert promoters to sell tickets and add-ons to disabled fans.

Human Native AI is building a marketplace for creative-industry rightsholders to license their content to ethical AI companies, and Maia Universe is trying to crack the challenge of making sync licensing frictionless.

Finally, Rescape Innovation is using music in virtual-reality therapies to treat pain and anxiety, while SoundLabs AI has built a vocal plug-in enabling singers to clone their own voices for AI models that can be licensed out.

The six winners will be presenting at our Music Ally Connect conference in January, while also receiving a mentoring programme from our Music Ally SI:X partners. This year’s contest is in association with Amazon Music, Ascap Lab, Music Foundry, Red Bull Media House, Reed Smith and Universal Music Group Digital Innovation.
