The 35th-birthday-year festivities continue for UK talent-development organisation Tomorrow’s Warriors – and now it has some big financial muscle joining the party: Bank of America.
The latter is the partner for a new program called ‘Side by Side’ that will provide performance and mentoring opportunities for Tomorrow’s Warriors’ flagship ‘TW Big Band’ ensemble.
The 17 young musicians in the group will get a one-year program that will see them “connect with and be mentored by professional players, sit and shadow in rehearsals, and participate in sight-reading, composition, and arrangement workshops”.
“Through this partnership, we will see the first cohort of musicians flourish in real world learning, developing the vision for their professional futures,” said Tomorrow’s Warriors CEO Janine Irons OBE.
The partnership comes ahead of Tomorrow’s Warriors announcing its summer program of live events, centred on the 35th anniversary celebrations.
