The Myspace comeback efforts continue, with music remaining at the heart of them. The site has launched a new series of video interviews called One-Two-Watch, which will blend Q&As with previously-unseen footage of emerging artists. First to get the treatment is British star Emeli Sandé, including footage of her first gig in the US. In that sense, it’s a direct rival for Vevo’s Lift programme, which has spotlighted the likes of Jessie J in the US, before recently crossing the Atlantic back to the UK. Myspace was always the place where music fans could hear what was new. I’m excited to see the brand refocus on this with the `One-Two-Watch’ series,” says Myspace’s lead curator (yes, that’s his job title) Scott Vener. No news on who’s next for the series following Sandé, though.
