Sonic Seeds aims to take on Pandora with recommendation tech
Everyone wants to take on Pandora at the moment, actually, from Clear Channel and the soon-to-relaunch Myspace through to new startups claiming whizzier recommendation technology. One of those is Sonic Seeds, which is using a music-fingerprinting algorithm to recommend songs to its users. The technology behind it was developed by Music Intelligence Solutions, which runs the Uplaya digital A&R service.
