Global independent music body WIN has announced details of its next annual ‘WINCON’ conference. It will take place in Belgrade, Serbia on 23-24 September alongside the Runda Digital Day conference. WIN is promising keynotes, panels, workshops and networking, including examining “streaming reform and performer remuneration in the digital age” in the members-only section of the event. Full details can be found here.
While we’re on an indie-trade-body-conferences tip, there is also some news from UK organisation AIM. Its AIM Connected conference is taking place on 12 September in London, with the final speakers now confirmed. Blur’s Graham Coxon and his latest collaborator Rose Elinor Dougall will appear for a keynote with Transgressive Records’ co-founders. Other new additions to the program include execs from ERA, Beggars Group, Secretly Group, Blue Raincoat, FUGA and Domino. Full details of AIM Connected can be found here.
